Does anybody ever see a trailer for a horror movie and you want to know the plot but you're so scared of horror movies you don't want to watch it either?
Like, horror movies make me really uncomfortable, I don't like being scared like that. It probably has to do with growing up with lots of anxiety
because it's the same physical sensation
I've also been known to look up the synopsis and ALL the spoilers for a movie like that in preparation for watching it, to negate some of the suspense
and skipping through, or turning the volume off

& i look up the spoilers too just so i can be mentally prepared haha, you're not alone!!
