emotional denial =/= colors

if the way people respond to me whenever I say that is any indication, yes. SILVER AND GOLD, MOONLIGHT AND SUNSHINE, that feels like intentional color theming. Hell, Sentai uses that combo all the time!

then sunshine is also in emotional denial and last I check she was much less angst ridden than her senpai

I don't know why people look at Moonlight and go "silver outfit... silver in her speech... framed as an opposite to a gold/yellow cure... but her hair's purple so I'll just call her purple."

Rhythm colour discourse is one thing, Toei themselves introduced her in marketing materials as pink ("two pink Precure! Girls' favourite colour is on full display!") but later treated her as white.

And then there's Parfait of the "yeah, we teased you with green, but the bulk of her outfit is blue and she's actually rainbow..."
