Ritsuka... pretty much hands down. Most of the Loveless characters are pretty sad, and I do have an Angel Beats character, BUT

there's not much more tragedy than having an abusive parent, a negligent parent and a brother who faked his own murder to cover up his murderous tendencies

but what I love about Ritsuka is that despite his awful life situation, he is really strong-willed and hopeful and wants to see the good in people

he's a good kid......... I still love Loveless even if it's kind of a mess
