https://images.plurk.com/OFOyAtUnZ59VvX4BuMRc8.jpg I just attempted this recipe and it turned out not bad actually

I added grated parmesan to get a little salt in there
instead of adding straight salt

it's kind of janky because I don't have a food processor and had to fake it in a blender, and I used some leftover peas from someone else that were pre-seasoned and kind of freezerburned but
overall not bad!
If I can get my hands on a cheap food processor I may add this into my regular rotation

If you can, look at... it’s either kitchenaid or cuisinart who makes it, it’s an immersion blender that has attachments for a chopper and an electric whisk too
I haven't been a fan of immersion blenders generally but people do rave about them

Mine is like this one except not that fancy or expensive, but according to amazon there are a lot of options for them now
I'm probably just gonna hit up the nearest goodwill and just take whatever they have tbh, I've already spent my Big Bucks for my move so I'm on a budget now, haha

I like mine for squash soup and some curries

And for me at least, the chopper part usually can handle the quantities I’m cooking for a single person. The only thing it couldn’t handle was Pesto Day But I literally made two gallons of pesto, I had to borrow a full size food processor

oh, I've got an immersion blender I got for $30. also use it mainly when I'm making squash soup or curries with smooth sauces in my slow cooker

did do a good job once on smoothing out mashed sweet potatoes, when I promised tobring the casserole and forgot I didn't own a hand blender

It cost about it $5 for the seedlings, I grew it all. Basil and hot peppers I can rock the heck out of.

it's actually the reason I bought the immersion blender. squash soups are so much easier when you don't have to scoop them out and run them through the blender.
