Well, she had been excessively licking the base of her tail enough to have a bald spot and I saw a red patch and something scabbed over

and the internets said it was either an allergic reaction possibly from fleas (which she did have a month ago) or ringworm. both of which should still be seen by the vet

the vet said it was just a bacteria infection that had been left over from the fleas

which sucks but I’ll take that over ringworm
