so today before I left for work I heard a loud screeching from the kitchen and my grandma just told me that it was a busted pipe and our kitchen flooded this morning 
me: ARE YOU SURE IT'S OKAY FOR ME TO JUST GO TO WORK
mother: yeah I don't think it's anything serious????
mother: yeah I don't think it's anything serious????
jokes... on us... I guess..... 
the positive about this situation is that my grandma came home at 9.30am instead of me coming home at like 11.30pm so the kitchen had only been flooding for like an hour tops
