TODAY HAD BEEN A LITTLE BUSY BUT BEAR WITH ME
I shared this story last year-- when I came out it was too my mother, and I told her that I thought I was bi.
what the fuck your phone is adorable

she told me something that a lot of mothers told their kids, apparently. "you don't know what you're calling about. " nicer, but firmly. you know?
also >:C YEAH IT'S PRETTY CUTE T-TY
I was in love with one of my best friends. but I still had crushes on boys and the like. you know? it was confusing. a confusing time.
even now, though happily married, I am still physically attracted to women just as much as men.
there's nothing wrong with that, and there's no reason to beat myself up over something that I can't help. I had mentioned that to my mom in her last months and she warned me not to run off with another woman...
but that isnt right either. what she was implying is that I would let my attraction pull me out of a happy marriage, and really, it's just... being honest with myself. I like men, but I don't find myself tempted to run off with another man
same concept with women. on a base level, I am attracted to them. on a moral level, I would never leave my husband for someone else. :-(
if I felt the need top leave at all, I would take some come for myself to figure out what it is i want. you know?

Being bi doesn't mean you're going to be going after anyone who crosses your path, it just means that you can be attracted to multiple genders.
I can't tell my mom that now. and I imagine she'd have a quirky counter to that anyway. so...I don't think worrying about the details is important.
agreed!!!
I never understood that mindset-- being bi doesn't mean you're predisposed to cheating any more than being polyamorous is
if I have a golden retriever as a pet and I see a kitten up for adoption that I think is absolutely adorable, I'm not gonna just up and ditch my dog for the kitten. That's pretty much what that argument is.
