they looked like this and you had to be wearing the mask of truth to get them to talk to you

which made them difficult when youd find them in weird places as an adult, and only kid link can wear the mask, and then youd have to figure out how the fuck kid link is supposed to get there...

and youd have to do the happy mask salesman sidequest in the first place just to get the mask
