He is going to point out from texts we have that I offered to pay the money and even asked for a letter to give disability so I could access my back pay to get it for them but the landlord himself wouldn't give it to me

and then the secretary said she could give it to me less than 30 minutes before the disability office closed for the day on the day that rent was due and when I explained this to her she purposely never answered back

oh and they are only holding my husband and a former roommate who moved out responsible for all of it because they unlawfully removed asshole 1 and asshole 2 from the lease before the lease was actually up

even though they told us many times they could not remove tenants from the lease until the lease was actually up

so yeah. I'm at least hoping that things all work out. I'm really scared for my husband right now. if they demand we have to pay everything by a certain deadline then there is no way we will be able to and he can go to jail I think
