She thinks water sprites are "bubbles" and that we need to pop them.
Mom: Fire IVs the sprite down Okay, now what? Kiddo: More bubbles.
(psst, if you make this public I can replurk it)
She also likes watching "mommy swim" (thanks Ruby Sea!) and seeing her go through tunnels. We had a long session of her going "another tunnel" yesterday.
She has also picked up the terms "crafting" and "fish guys" (the Namazu quest NPCs.)
That...that is incredibly adorable and I love it.
Pro tip: The kobold stronghold is a great place to do more tunnels.
They grow up so fast. ;_;
she also knows "keyblade"!
and can identify Sora, Donald, Goofy, Aqua, and Terra :|b
(she's a little fuzzier on Ven)
And Mickey, but only as "mouse".
You guys are doing this parenting thing right
That is all adorable
justghosts: Thanks! Tbh I've been stressing a bit over the whole "how much screen time should our 2 year old be getting" issue but this form of it is at least a more active form of play than just watching TV.
even if does mean it takes at least twice as long to get any quest done
Video games are good hand-eye coordination training.
this is true! but I think bb's first Actually-Using-The-Controller should probably not be xiv, since combat is Complicated
Yeeeah. XD I'd recommend Mario.
oh! she also refers to KH/XIV as "fights games"
where the player relegates Job-related decisions to his 3-year-old
we've both seen that! and I wouldn't be surprised if we end up (intentionally or not) doing something similar
she has very specific opinions about the outfits my character in ffxiv wears
(level 63 crafting clothes are okay. level 65 are not. and I can be a black mage to pop the bubbles)
This is the cutest thing omg
i don't know you or your kid but this was a very much needed dose of cute
Reading this just reminded me that I have to do my namazus for today but oh no this is super adorable
Also the tiny sprootling has excellent choice in your caster class
omg best
