though first aid training for other augment types on the ships wouldn't be a bad idea

especially for the ones without lab support.

They'd have to get supplies from one of the ships with lab support, but it could take care of minor injuries or help with more serious ones until someone with a lab support augment could get there

All ships have basic first aid kits. The lab appears when they get a crew member for it, but, if everyone has some sort of training, then they can use the first aid kits for the time being.
