Last week we got a client visiting our shop from the states. After the meeting, we went out for dinner. It was a delightful night and we chatted a lot about our lives. He has mentioned non of his family use social media, neither his wife and daughters nor himself. He said, “ I have been living a life without this stuff for fifty something year.”

“I didn’t need it before, so I don’t need it now as well.” This is overwhelming to me as people nowadays seem not able to live without social media. Everyday we browse the pages, liking the posts from friends and commenting, try to establish CONNECTIONS with those people. But it did depress me somehow. Looking at those happy posts sometimes upsets me
For not able to “live the life somebody had”. It is totally unnecessary but hard to avoid.
Now I’m trying to get away from those social media and hoping to stop the envious mind.
