So far, the overwhelming advice is "Don't travel to Miami".

All I can say is #HatersGonnaHate. Yes, the traffic and parking can be challenging. I would recommend to use Uber/Lyft and/or Metrorail to get around. They can rent a car for day trips to surrounding areas. depending on what people enjoy, there are fantastic museums, beautiful sightseeing stuff and if they're into it there's always clubbing in South Beach.

But, if they're looking for home-spun down South stuff, that's not here. If they're looking for a laid-back beach town, that's not here.

As to the food - I think the variety and quality is excellent. You've seen the food porn!
