yeah, it's sad that such a thing has to happen, but there are unprepared people on both sides of the desk
when I was finishing my BS Ed I had a teacher who no-call no-show'd all of my observations and many of my colleagues as well
if anything it taught me that even if you are put in a bad situation, you have to make the best of it and be a leader.
if your principal is slacking, you never know when their job may be opening up for you...
