literally reading guides over here and one of them says "start with the who, what, when, where, and how" and then step two is "create world for character" ....

simpler prompts i find are better cos it gives you more room to build but just keep tossing things in until you find something that hits that spark

I usually start with a core concept, like "Grumpy old man who secretly loves animals, but feels silly when he's being cute with his dog, so he acts grumpy all the time to cover that up" and go from there

Honestly, hipster vampire was my concept for a tabletop oc and she evolved a lot.

Give me a couple scattered ideas you have and I can doodle something
