There's some little icons on the bottom right of your 'doll' screen.

One of those lets you fiddle with the colours of the options you currently have selected.

I click Left Eye, thten I click the brush, then I click the color

and it just changes skin color

Is your options on the bottom half of the screen on eye as well?

Clicking on the actual 'doll' itself does nothing.

Refresh and try again - I didn't experience such a thing, so I have no idea.
