tonight is Aurix, my hexblade/swashbuckler, and MAN IM HYPE

that group meets far less often than my others, but the rp dynamic I've got with our samurai is just SUCH A DELIGHT

we spent the text-rp-between-sessions playing cards and Being In Cahoots and man this guy is a really quality writer

it's also a rare and wonderful gift to be a Shady Neutral Character in a campaign and actually get to get up to shit with someone

Lawful Goods are a lot of fun and extremely sweet characters, but it's also refreshing to play a morally grey type once in a while

we got into the temple successfully, but samurai got caught. despite that, we managed to talk our way into a private audience with our target

and samurai felt sorry for him and completely changed his mind on the assassination thing

so Aurix got this guy out of town and paid off a dude to get him to the next place over discreetly

but she's not happy lmao

she isn't loving this "we just double-crossed The Drow Mafia shortly before we need to get into the underdark" situation, the temple AND the drow mafia both know samurai's face, and we're now enemies of both factions in an underground gang war

but she's also very True Neutral Lizardfolk so she doesn't really get the whole... "moved to mercy by tears" thing very well

we skipped town lol to check up on the kobolds aurix adopted and THEY UNEARTHED SO MUCH HORDE TREASURE
