I might end up just repeating myself a lot but the other plurk was like 700+ comments long and all the thought stuff was at the bottom of 600 reaction comments during gameplay lol.
Anyway I put Don't Think Twice on earlier and my entire chest seized up so you know THAT'S HOW I'M DOING how y'all?
But let me just start by saying that I super enjoyed KH3 and probably loved it but I am absolutely still an emotional wreck and of course there are some things I'm not too keen on.
Not how it ended so much, just how things were handled getting there.
Okay MOSTLY I'm pissed what they did with destiny trio ahaha. They deserved so much better BUT ALSO...it's not the end of their story, I guess, right? So maybe all the other groups needed that closure.
Though speaking of the other trios, A+++++++++ on all their reunion scenes.
But sea salt trio wins the fucking DAY, MONTH, YEAR.
They were so aklsdjfhakslj perfect, I could not have asked for more.
AND THEN THEY JUST GOT BETTER??
THEY ADDED ISA.
AND THE TWILIGHT TOWN KIDS.
AND IT WAS ALL BEAUTIFUL.
I just wish destiny trio had gotten their moment together.
Instead of 2/3 of them sitting on their tree and Kairi and Riku having fuck all displays of friendship.
At least we'll always have Sora and Riku's gay keyblade combo move so there's that. <3333
But man did I want a better goodbye for them. OR NO GOODBYE AT ALL? RIKU SHOULD'VE GONE WITH SORA TO SAVE KAIRI but whatever whatever, that's Sora's thing, it's fine.
Kairi got the biggest shit end of the stick, though.
If I was a fan of her I'd be pissed but they've never given me a reason to be so 
Mostly what makes me angry about her writing is that it affects the group as a whole and again that just leads back to being annoyed by how destiny trio was handled compared to everyone else but it's fine. IT'S FINE. I wish Kairi would get to do literally anything cool but alas.
I'm so sad over that ending with Sora, though. Not in a bad way. But like I've watched that video like twenty times now and it is actually PHYSICALLY painful to watch him fade away even though you immediately know there's more coming because of the secret ending.
Thank god for that honestly because I was wrecked enough as is.
So here's my thing, though.
That I'm still trying to puzzle out.

The way everyone is running around partying (BEST SCENE BTW MORE ON THAT IN A BIT) it leads me to believe they're not CONCERNED, right? Riku said to believe in him and Sora said he'd be back and I guess he DID come back.
Donald points Sora and Kairi out -- I'm convinced because they're doing their forced romance thing and Donald being Donald was probably ready to tease the shit out of him but Mickey stops him, I think.
So did they not know Sora was going to disappear??
Or are they actually just looking at Kairi being sad by herself?
The way it leaves you on Riku's face makes me think they do see Sora.
And so what, is the next scene just IMMEDIATE panic?? And everyone being like OH FUCK.
And then the secret ending...
My hot take is something like this--

Chirithy are Dream Eaters.
Riku is Sora's Dream Eater.
He's obviously an anomaly so I know it doesn't work the same way but did he bind himself to Sora somehow doing all that stuff to protect / save him in 3D?
And when Sora vanishes at the end of KH3, does that mean Riku vanishes, too?
Is that why it ends on him watching the other two?
And do both of them then wake up in Shibuya??

The fact that Isa got this big redemption arc and is actually in the ending is probably a big sign that he and Lea aren't done with their story either.
Like it's a little tiny bit annoying that yeah, we didn't wrap everything up here, there's just more questions now, but it's also sort of genius that they tied this all back to the lost masters and all that shit.
Xigbar / Luxu has his whole thing now, let's not forget that Ventus is also in KHUX, not to mention Marluxia and Larxene who both had big (ish) parts in KH3.

okay, so I went on Demyx's wiki and yeah, Xigbar is basically the one org member he has the most interactions with.
a lot of his missions are handed down to him through Xigbar (he went to Olympus in KH2 at Xigbar's behest, among other things.) and in Days he and Xigbar made fun of Xion together.
Well yeah, when they're in the Organization. I thought Demyx was talking about when they were human but I totally could've misinterpreted that.
The "though younger than me" line is throwing me, but I guess Xigbar could be younger than Vexen lol. Just not like noticeably so, so why specifically point that out?

So, a concept -- because like I said, I think maybe we're mostly done with some of these characters. Not that we'll never see them again, but Roxas, Xion...their goals have been met.
Roxas is probably perfectly cool with hanging out with the Twilight Town gang, though obviously he'd still want to travel around with Lea, too, but.
Ventus, on the other hand, has too much ~mysterious past~ going on for his story to be over.
And he's currently in KHUX.
AND if mystery girl is Skuld, then Ven ALSO knows her.
So maybe a "new" trio in a future game would be Lea/Isa/Ven.
Also Roxas and Xion are kind of accidental keyblade wielders so. Who knows if they'll continue with it.
Not sure about Aqua and Terra, expect that maybe as masters they'll take on new students.
