Okay, I feel like the adaptation of this part of the story is a bit weak. Instead of Flynn's ex-partners showing up to "kidnap" Rapunzel and reinforce Gothel's teachings that the outside world is full of evil and Rapunzel can only be safe in the tower...

Here, Marluxia just shows up, acts spooky, and tells Rapunzel "you know where you belong."

Yeah, the dialogue's making it pretty clear that the reprise of "Mother Knows Best" didn't happen, so again, how did Rapunzel get the satchel when by all rights, Gothel should still have it?

Whatever, moving on. So Rapunzel is a possible candidate for a new set of Princesses of Light, apparently.

So I'm sure we'll find out after this boss battle, but I'm curious to see how Marluxia will react once he sees Rapunzel's healing power is gone. (Though I think the series brought it back? Idk, I've only ever seen a few clips.)

Oooh, I like how they incorporate the mass of thorns from the original fairy tale into the boss fight!

And now I'm picturing Rapunzel desperately trying to save Eugene before having to stop and yell out the window for Sora and Gothel's Heartless to keep it down, she's kinda trying to have a dramatic moment here
