Vanitas: Professional Moment Ruiner
"Now it's my turn to shine." Oh, hell yes!
Even beyond the emotional roller coaster (which I'd probably be feeling more if I'd had a chance to play BBS), I love the echoing they use for everyone's voices.
It's such a nice little detail to include
"And, apparently everybody already knows everyone, and this is an insane amount to get memorized!"
--Lea, saying what every newcomer to the series is thinking right now
And Jiminy just gives everyone a smartphone with a plot summary on it
Maleficent: I'm still here, bitches
More about this mysterious girl who vanished one day!
But now it feels less and less like it's Kairi, because surely Lea would have recognized her if that was the case?
"I'll even drag you home!"
And now I'm picturing Lea literally stuffing Saix into a sack. "He followed me home, and I'm keeping him."
We have paopu fruit! Paopu fruit confirmed!
PSA: don't make Donald angry. You won't like him when he's angry.
Yyyyup, it's totally over now. Heartless tornado touches down, everyone dies. The end.
"And so, as foretold, darkness prevailed and light expired."
Didn't that happen in the series backstory? And then the light came back from the hearts of children?
"Some light comes from the past."
Is this going to tie into Union X?
"What? Why am I in pieces?!"
Just now noticed the blue transparency, have you
Ooh, is Star Girl the missing girl?
"Um... could I get a hint on how to save the others?"
"Seriously?"
I still don't know who Chirithy is, but I love her. Him. Them. Whatever pronoun applies.
This whole sequence is really cool...
I like how you can't attack the Lich's afterimages or they'll blow up in your face, but all that teleporting around must make him a pain to actually fight.
Ooh, and now we get a proper world intro for the Keyblade Graveyard!
But what did young Xehanort mean by the power of waking being about traversing hearts to reach worlds, and that Sora's doomed to the abyss?
Oooh, Union X callback that I don't fully get, but
"Some lights come from the past," indeed.
I love this. It's like the devs are thanking the fanbase for allowing the story to get this far
"I'll have you know we failed with style, chief."
Xehanort: Okay everyone, line up in formation, just like we practiced. Ready? And... march!
