So hold on, let me try to count off everyone in the New Organization now that we supposedly know all thirteen...
Master Xehanort, his Hearless, Xemnas, young Xehanort, Terranort, Vanitas, that's 6...
Xigbar, Saix, Larxene, Marluxia, Luxord, 11...
Possessed!Riku makes 12 and Vexen and Demyx were both benched, so who am I missing?
(Possessed!Riku just standing awkwardly off to the side while Xigbar has his dying cutscene...)
Are we 100% sure he's dead, though? His element was space, after all. He could have just let his guns dissolve to further the illusion...
I'm going to assume he's dead, but I won't be surprised if he shows up again later.
All Repliku wanted was to protect Naminé... honey... ;_;
And now Luxord. I always liked his design...
This is not helping my suspicion that Xigbar faked his death, mind you.
Aww, Larxene just wanted to partner up with Marluxia again, is that it?
And Marluxia got Dying as Yourself. Or being recompleted, at least
Okay, so there was one last hooded Org member.
Who seems to have a Keyblafe, so either Roxas or Xion...
Lea, stop knocking on the fourth wall, you're gonna break it
...dammit they whacked Kairi with the distress ball again >:|
"If I make it back... you won't get it out of me a second time." Turn down the tsundere there, jeez... ;^;
358/2 trio group hug! ;u;
RIP Vanitas, a true shitlord to the end
/cue the kazoo rendition of "My Heart Will Go On"
Terra: /getting reallll sick of your shit, Xehanort
("You! How many times do I have to kill you, boy?!")
There we go again with Sora supposedly being doomed...
"Life is pain, Princess. Anyone who says otherwise is trying to sell you something."
And Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless gets a surprisingly eloquent exit as well.
Okay no I'm calling bullshit on this one
They're not gonna kill Kairi off for real just like that
"Sorry we took so long. Had a couple of plot points that needed ironing out." Lea I'm warning you...
Ohhh, I bet Sora's supposedly going to be trapped in whatever world they end up sealing Xehanort away in
"Your time in this world," etc, etc
Well this fight is ridiculously huge
And ooh, do those thirteen vessels each use different Organization weapons? I think I recognize Xigbar's guns and Riku's Keyblade...
Looks like someone here saw Inception a few times too many
Oookay I think the audio and video desynced at some point?
Ohhh oh oh I just thought of something
Sora's supposedly doomed; one of the comments I got a glance at while looking for an explanation for the desync even says he gets Thanos-ed
But what about that box the Organization and Maleficent have all been looking for? Maleficent says it contains a book of prophecy or something, but it will only appear at the final battle.
And what does the Organization say it contains?
Sora will die, but hope (and possibly that card Luxord gave him) will bring him back somehow.
Aaaaaaa all the Disney worlds have been foreshadowing this
Every single one has involved either the (temporary) death of a loved one or another form of separation from them
And they all end with at least the promise that you will see them again
(Unless you're Tadashi. Then you just live on in everyone's hearts.)
Hercules: Earned back his godhood, but decided to stay mortal so he wouldn't be separated from Meg
Toy Story: Woody and the gang are stuck in the "mirror" world the Organization made, but they know they're still with Andy and the other toys in their hearts, and it's implied that they'll reunite once everything's been fixed
Tangled: Eugene died but was brought back through Rapunzel's tears/healing/love and Rapunzel will finally get to meet her real parents
Winnie the Pooh: Even though the bond between Pooh and Sora weakened, Sora still came back and rekindled it
Monsters, Inc: Boo has to go back home, but she'll get to play with Mike and Sulley again soon
Frozen: Anna was completely frozen, but her act of true love to protect Elsa is what saved her
Big Hero 6: The original Baymax's combat chip had to be destroyed, but he was repaired and reactivated in the end
Pirates of the Caribbean: Will died and was brought back as the new captain of the Flying Dutchman. Though this means he and Elizabeth are now of different worlds, they still have their one day together, and as implied in the movie, he'll be freed from his duty when Elizabeth meets him again 10 years from now
There's also Jack and his rescue from Davy Jones' Locker, Elsa closing herself off from Anna, and Rapunzel being forcibly separated from her parents and kingdom
