That sucks. Everything ok?
Yeah. Our dog got his foot caught in the backyard fence so after our neighbor helped cut him free we had to go to the emergency vet.
I am not good with blood and things like that.
But the vet cleaned out the cut and gave him antibiotics so he should be okay.
sorry about ur lil dogger. How is he
He seems fine now. Except that we're supposed to keep him quiet and not let him run around.
I think I might have been more upset by it than him.
Glad he's alright, hope he recovers quickly
He was freaked out at the time but recovered admirably since
He’s already walking more or less normally and doesn’t seem to be in much pain. Maybe a little tender, but that’s about it. He’s mostly just moving a little more slowly.
But he hasn’t been whining or anything when he puts pressure on it, not even when he lands from jumping off the couch

Poor you, and poor pupper.
/sends you hugs, and scritches to the doggy
I'm glad he's okay and I hope y'all's blood pressure evens back out ._. pet injuries are scary
Better. Mostly he's just confused about why we won't let him run around or throw his toys like we usually do. I feel bad but the vet said to keep him quiet for a few days.
Yeah, it's hard when you have to do the right thing, but they don't understand.
But he's been good about taking his medicine so that's nice.
Good, it can be rough sometimes medicating pets.
He thinks the pills are treats so he's actually excited when I bring them out.
you have such a good pupper
one day I'll be able to visit and meet him and rub all over his sweet face
You should! He loves having people squish his flappy face.
is he a jumper? just so I'm prepared
Unfortunately yes. He gets so excited about people that his normal greeting is crazy jumping followed by flattening himself on the ground and making excited noises. But he usually calms down after a few minutes.
We usually give him a new fancy treat or fill up his Kong when he’s like that and then he’s used enough to new person in the room to behave normally by the time he’s done with it
I have gotten much more okay with jumping with constant contact with Kirby <3 knowing ahead is a big help :3
