In any case, it's best to look into who's modding the zine to avoid a bad time 💦
I was in a zine whose mod tried to make an artist completely redo her piece just before the deadline b/c it wasn't "good enough," and she frequently threw shade at some of the other artists on her own twitter

waytooemily: yeah that's true although wow, making an artist redo her piece before deadline is rude, they should have included a progress check if they won't be happy. That's not a nice mod
