Even if it's hard... especially when it's hard... you have to keep going, huh?
For Rantaro, and for everyone else!...
I've gotten to the point where the first debate scrum has just been cleared and Shuichi is being urged to open up already...
I feel like NicoB's issue about why Kaede didn't confess right away has a reasonable explanation.
Kaede was still hoping to use the trial to expose the mastermind. All along, that's what she's been saying. Not, "we'll find Rantaro's killer," but "we'll uncover the mastermind."
But Shuichi nearly getting voted guilty must have shaken her to the point where she was willing to give that plan up, for his sake.
As for why she hasn't straight up confessed even now, well, Shuichi has to be willing to accept hard truths, right? He has to be the one to say, "You did it, Kaede."
Seeing Kaede's inner monologue while she's surrounded by empty podiums... ;_;
It... it's gonna be okay...
That's what the "everyone survives" unlockable side story is for...
...pfft, NicoB freaking out about wasted hope fragments
And now Kaede's gonna make us prove it... ;_;
Oh, they make you actively vote, too? That's just extra salt in the wound...
Oh yeah, like the mastermind would have set themselves to die if everyone had voted incorrectly
"Everyone said their thing and then Kokichi was a dick, so I think we're good."
Rantaro's execution would've been being pelted with avocados, nice
"I would've liked to hear her play [the piano]... if only just once."
Jeremy, having watched the execution: You did hear her play once!
[horrified screaming at that reply]
[whaps Jeremy with a pillow for that]
