I always find it interesting how the creators of anime find ways of making nearly anything interesting

I love how Hikaru no Go is like

first episode impressions: "Haha omg it's just a fucking board game"

then like 10 episodes in you're crying with the characters and going "omg who will win this match is everything!"

I've seen it before so I knew what i was in for, but it's still fascinating what they were able to do

I don't really watch anime anymore because I like having shows on in the background while i do other things, and subtitles are something you have to pay attention to
