I agree. About 6 months ago, when I was barely tweeting, I set up a Tweet to plurk connection to keep my karma up (I could SMS tweet).

Now I've forgotten how to remove it and I'm tweeting a bit more.

So you are still cross-posting from Twitter to Plurk now ?

Ginger I see. Well as I wrote there, it's fine to cross-post as long as you follow it through.

I gave up on automated cross-posting soon after trying it but I do like the 'selective twitter' to facebook method.

You add #fb after a tweet IFF you want to also send it to facebook

but usually I rewrite a plurk for twitter and vice versa if I want, and follow up both

I also like to occasionally send blips to twitter and even plurk

ff to fb was the worst thing I tried !
