question: is there ever an unfair dinkum?

I believe the term “fair dinkum” is from the olden days. It means “really nice old wooden ship”. Or “whale’s vagina”. One of the two.

I've been in a skype call since 2007 with an aussie, haven't heard Fair Dinkum yet used properly in a sentence that's not about aussie sayings ever.
