First out the gate, we're getting one more Endgame tie-in wave. An entirely MCU-based wave featuring Avengers Captain America (IE America's Ass), Iron Patriot (repaint of the recently-released Endgame War Machine), Valkyrie (in armor), Iron Man Mk LXXXV, Heimdall (Ragnarok version), and Vision (translucent 'phasing' version), with a "Fat" Thor BAF
Iron Man also features a Starktech Infinity Gauntlet, made to swap onto the arm of the previous wave's Professor Hulk BAF
Also on the way is a cheesy, vaguely 80s 'Miami Vice'-feeling two-pack of Deadpool and Hit Monkey, because why not
For those unfamiliar, Hit Monkey was previously released as a BAF back in 2013
Also appearing in this pack is Headpool from the Marvel Zombies universe, now with a sweet ride
Moving on to the real reveals now
First, two more figures have been revealed for the online-exclusive 'variants' series. Previously, we had been shown Agent Anti-Venom, Big Time Spider-Man, and Cowboy Hat Wolverine (with Muramasa blade). Adding to that are Camo Punisher, X-Force Deathlok, and Civil War Giant Man
Giant Man has received some redecos to better reflect the finalized costume from the film, as opposed to his original BAF release.
Long-rumored and finally confirmed, Walgreens is getting Danielle Moonstar as an exclusive. And, for better or for worse, they included alternate heads and hands for Karma and Wolfsbane. Which means you'll likely need to buy three.
In the Legendary Riders collection, we're getting two brand-new figures - Cosmic Ghost Rider (with his space motorcycle) and Squirrel Girl (with her Squirrel Scooter, and three squirrels including Tippy-Toe)
Personally, I'm glad to see that Doreen has some thicker sculpting for her legs than most of the ML women
Okay, back from lunch, to finish this plurk
We have another Spider-Man wave coming later this year, and we know at least half the wave is non-movie, though two of them aren't comic-based either. From the comics, we'll be seeing Shang-Chi (classic) and the Vulture (Silver Age), as well as the Velocity Suit and the Spider-Armor Mk III from PS4's Spider-Man
While we don't know what wave it will be branded as, we also have two hot reveals: Classic Dr. Doom, and Jennifer Walters (post-Civil War II, grey-skinned 'Hulk' version)
Doom includes a pistol and an alternate head w/attached hood, and Jen is a brand-new sculpt featuring her more toned, vein-popping, jeans-ripping grey form
Finally, of course I'd save them for last, our Merry Mutants
Two box sets will be released as part of the Marvel 80th Anniversary line: a two-pack of X-Factor Havok and Polaris, and a three-pack of 90s-era Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Wolverine
Lorna is so #bighairdontcare
Scott features his bomber jacket look that he sported on and off in the 90s comics and cartoon, as well as two alternate unmasked heads (one with the more 90s-tastic sunglasses, one with more vintage-style lenses)
Logan features scaled-down versions of the unmasked and battle-damaged heads from the 12" version, as well as an alternate set of BONE CLAW hands!
Jean is a redux of the Jim Lee-style uniform, and features an alternate head with her ponytail hairstyle from the animated series. This set completes both the 90s-era comics team lineup, AND the Animated Series team lineup, a rarity for Hasbro.
We were also confirmed that, with the release of Havok, Polaris, Multiple Man, Forge, Quicksilver, and Wolfsbane (albeit not the right costume), we'd finally be getting a BAF to finish up the 90s X-Factor roster... STRONG GUY
Lastly, for the mutants side, Hasbro revealed that one of the next X-Waves would actually be Age of Apocalypse-centric, and revealed one redux from the Toy Biz days, and two brand-new figures: Weapon X (AoA Wolverine), X-Man (AoA Cable), and MORPH
Finally, though not Marvel Legends, Mattel revealed their first three Marvel 80th Anniversary-based Barbie Dolls, all of whom are from our wonderful mutant corner: Storm (first appearance), Mystique (classic), and Dark Phoenix!
These dolls are simply gorgeous
