so this is the general thing i came up with at the end of season 3 when i was trying to figure this out for a canon update:

also in god johnson chloe is definitely wearing a name badge that lists the date the episode aired, which either gives us an anchor date or makes absolutely no sense in the continuity of the timeline

part of this is i'm hoping you guys are equally as obsessive and may have found some dates mentioned that i missed (which i probably did)

and we do at least know that the whole show has taken place over about 2 years based on someone mentioning lucifer's been on earth for 7 years in season 4 which might also make the timeline i posted up there shift depending on how we weight that

i don't remember if that 7 years comment was made before or after the ~6mo time jump

Playing Lucifer, it doesn't matter as much cause he probably doesn't keep track of things like that (what's time when you literally live forever). But Chole remembers everything down to the minute

also 8 months is still ridiculous for season two because charlotte says she can't remember a "few" months and 8 seems like SO much more than that but. SHRUG EMOJI

Yeah I got the impression it was about two years-ish total in canon

season 4 having the biggest jump obviously

I've just been watching for the first time lol so that's the sense I got while watching through from start to finish

And season four had a HUGE jump because Linda went from newly pregnant to having a baby in a flash

And from Maze being there to "we haven't seen you in months"

Lucifer talks about how he’s seen Linda for “years” in s4, too. What a mess

i totally missed the comment about not having seen her for years

there is just so much going on and none of it makes linear sense lol
