I HOPE Inbar comes back next season for the last season because I think this was just like step one of Eve's story and there's a lot more that could be done.

Someone did a really good comparison between how Lucifer and Eve are VERY MUCH ALIKE and you can compare Eve a lot to season one Lucifer.

honestly i think most of it stems from hating anything that challenges the OTP and also toxic masculinity in fandom. lucifer is such a female driven narrative and that can be really challenging for people even if they aren't conscious of it

and it's really good about not pitting women against each other in regards to the titular man which can also be incredibly challenging in a society that encourages women to constantly compete

Yeah I mean even if Eve and Chloe both loved Lucifer, and Chloe was jealous at times, she didn't take it out on Eve. Other shows might have had her do that, and they managed at least a respectful interaction no matter what.

Eve and Lucifer were clearly never going to last lol everything about them was temporary. The cool thing is that this show isn't the kind to make her suddenly evil or just treat her as an object/block to stretch out the OTP. They gave her actual agency and a story arc of her own

one of the ones that really made it stand out for me where maze and linda. because they kind of let you assume for a bit that maze is pissed linda is dating amenadiel because maze still has a thing for him. and then you find out she's actually jealous over having to share linda. which is still ridiculous but was a nice change of pace
