my friend worked on carnival row and cowrote the comic so that's good to hear. I've been dead worried I was gonna have to smile and nod at her when she asks if I like it

that is 1. hella cool, and 2. good for them! i've honestly been liking the balances they've been riding, but i'm not familiar with the comic at all and am admittedly v lenient when it comes to watching things

that said i do like the balance they've had with showing vs talking since they're straddling past vs present but i'm only a bit in

I think the comic is based off the show instead of vice versa

oh interesting

i know literally nothing about it aside from watching it now that it's dropped on prime

i'm excited to watch it, got a stack of new shows to watch on monday
