This was used repeatedly during a walk, with arms held up at her sides in a pretty good rendition of the “I dunno” gesture.

Fortunately we can shortcut a little with “why do you think?”

Oh gosh, that phase. I love it but also after the 400th time asking I want to pull my hair out. Then! It morphed into "How do you know" with baby nephew which is funny but also frustrating
