原文報導有好幾篇的話可信度高了一點,原本只有查到一則英文報導,也不確定中文新聞的來源是什麼

黃道十二宮不曉得有沒有機會破案,今年已經50年了,如果之後dna發現是屬於某人,對方可能已經不在人世,不像華城殺人犯這個案子驗出dna屬於誰,還能去找嫌犯確認

dna驗出來也不代表對方一定是兇手,應該要看被採集的dna是哪種情形;黃道十二宮案的案發現場沒採集到可信的dna, 前陣子在Cheri Jo Bates褲子上採集到dna,結果驗出來是女性(再加上 Cheri Jo Bates的案子始終沒辦法確認是不是黃道十二宮做的);目前確定的是兇手有封信件的郵票背面採集到dna,有人在猜兇手舔郵票背面來貼

不過也有人指出,Allen曾騷擾Cheney的女兒(未告知對方家長就把她帶上船出遊,並且有騷擾的舉動)這可能是Cheney指控Allen的其中一項原因

但這件事也是轉述,不知道真實性有多少,

具有可信度的點是,Allen曾在1968年因為騷擾學童而丟了小學教師工作
