When I had help from Apple they asked me how much ram and processing power I need. They ask me this every time. I think I break their brains a little every time,.

I need a browser up for research, and usually two chat apps. ideally also I;'d like to be able to play sims or Warcraft while rendering since rendering takes forever. and yet, since sims 3 updated to island living mac seems unable to run sims and ANYTHiNG else.

my current mac is a 2019 mack book pro. And it is already dying. I love warrantees. I am very rough on tech.
Not intentionally. I mean, I am careful in how i carry it, and such and don't leave it on 24/7 like my best friend's da leaves his computer.
But i do a LOT of multitasking and I am constantly using my tech.
my keys are half melted off and sticking now, the usb drives are crawling slow and it is overheating often.

yeah. As soon as we get back from thanskgiving I am doing a full time machine back up then making a genius bar appointment.
Da bought me a cheap refurb pc that should be here any day for all the programs I can't run on my mac, so I'll probably be on that while they're fixing my baby
