I use mail app for my other non RP emails but I now have a gmail account just for tags I can keep open (I get plurk notifs there, too)

it's been a blessing to keep tag stuff separate from other emails

also I don't read tags until I'm ready to respond to them so "unread" = "to-do"

if I ever lose your tag, it's probably because I'm weak and clicked on it to read it early and then forgot to mark as unread right after…

i organize it kinda similarly but i can't leave them unread because that bugs me lol

i do have them labelled based on character tbh, but other than that i try to immediately open up the tabs on my browser and i just tackle them from there

i just keep whatever i haven't answered there and archive it if i have tagged already

the problem with using the mail app is it bundles convos together, and while that's generally fine it would bundle two different characters on the same post. so everything on the meadowlark event log with gen ++ everything with lottie in one convo.

i only tag my inbox notifs by character, but i give them all their own inbox in gmail and use the multiple inbox function, so they're all in their own space

I do my character and colour coded

this is the mobile app view, i have an extension on desktop for quick links that sort it

i auto-filter by character, and leave them in the inbox until i reply, then i archive

i keep conversation view turned off

emojis are nice also because it keeps it from sorting alphabetically, so if you want to have separate labels for "bakerstreet" etc it will keep them away from character tags

yeah, that works too. the problem with emojis is when everyone is just… the same emoji

i have a tag/plurk/rp contact gmail account, but i also just tag out of the dw inbox, buuut unless it's a meme or psl tag, i delete the gmail notif pretty fast
