I am chomping at the bit for this game, lemme tell ya

I've never really strongly gelled with MMOs, barring two particular cases, but the original PSO was a HUGE thing for me. I played until there was no way to play on a Dreamcast in the US, and then I played more on private servers with the PC release.

I had so many alts across so many VMUs

I never joined a guild, or a clan, or whatever, but I didn't need to. They crafted a satisfying enough single-player campaign and story that you didn't need to play with other people.

But I did have friends on there, so I could play with others.

PSO2 may not hit the same notes for me - I'm a different person than I was... fuck, twenty years ago

I've played PSO2 on the JP servers and it's a solid game! Very nice action.
