So people have pointed out that there's space in the menu for 1-2 additional characters beyond who we know for sure is in the game

From what I've seen, most people in English and Japanese fandom think it's going to be Akechi and/or Kasumi Yoshizawa. Makes sense! BUT

my crackpot theory is that it's going to be zenkichi

mostly because he's been shown hanging around the PT more and more often in the trailers. even in sometimes ridiculous scenarios

excuse the phone screenshot, BUT LOOK AT HOW STUPID HE IS

sitting at the table with the other pts in their swimsuits while he's still in his full work suit. at the beach.

he keeps showing up, and i really wouldn't be surprised if they made him playable. Or at least a guest star during missions or something

but, like, the sheer salt that would occur if there was another character meant to be added to the menu and it wasn't akechi or yoshizawa.

don't get me wrong, i'd be salty like everyone else, but a part of me would find the ensuing fandom meltdown to hilarious.
