Sooo I had my doctor's appointment today, and he's really pleased with my progress
I'm down 18-20 lbs, and my blood pressure (which, if you'll recall, spiked wretchedly back three months or so ago) is down to 105/80
(the 80 is likely because Iiiiii was dehydrated)
Medication is working, we're increasing my dose
annnd he gave me an inhaler.
that's what that burning/choking sensation is when I exert myself. Fucking asthma.
Not "you're out of shape and need to work harder", moM
I see a pulmonary specialist on Friday to confirm that but yeah. :|
I went to get dressed this morning, and all of my "nice" clothes (business casual/not t-shirts) are too big now everywhere except the tits.
Which is actually not as affirming as it sounds; I went wearing jeans and a pinup girl t-shirt to see my doctor.
Which. I mean. Sure, people do it and that's fine, it's just not what I want to do.
I have very nice Hell Bunny button downs that look weird on me now :c
Also I'm lumpy in weird places and I don't like it.
Hopefully it all smoothes out ig
Anyway I can still wear the shirts with skirts, they'll cinch in nicely
yay, progress!

I'm proud of you!
I've been working hard to get my strength and endurance up, the weight loss is pretty incidental. But the blood pressure lowering is a really unexpected and nice perk >.>
you're doing great and surprise asthma is not great, I'm sorry
It's not so much "surprise asthma" as "This problem existed even in childhood, it's just infuriating"
Oh man getting diagnosed with asthma later in life solidarity
Re: your shirts its not too hard to take in darts on the sides to tighten the waist area if you can sew! And then u dont need to buy new shirts
I can sew, but I'm not at that level yet. I might solicit a friend to help me, because I really like these shirts :c
I just realized today... My floaty tops are getting very floaty, because, my ass, hips and gut are leaving.
