this is tricky for me to evaluate, b/c I've played seriously from a lot of like, classic YA, stuff that dooms you to a life of lcw-ing but also isn't what I would call obscure

otherwise, I have a lot of image comics lady protagonists including maika halfwolf from monstress, who I'd still like to play but i'd need to catch up, and velvet templeton who is also terrific.

I also have an Ilija Knezevic account and though I've never played him I WOULD,

every single other marvel comics character I've ever picked up was later put into the mcu, so

I don't like to play the current popular canons b/c that's ultra intimidating but I also I have basic tastes so really I just play from old stuff

It's kinda on a tier with Valkyrie Profile and Nash isn't exactly like, Toppo

there are definitely Suikoden characters who are like "who??"

anyway it all falls into the "things that were popular pre-tumblr" mélange

it was fun to play Nash in a Suikoden game so that his power of knowing everybody could really shine
