She said she wanted another haircut (last one was about a month ago) and told the barber she wanted it “a lot shorter”.

it is, but if she says she wants it a lot shorter... I have no objections about her having it short

(and I know she's never been super fond of sitting still to have it brushed - it'll be a lot lower maintenance this way)

I remember how much I haaaaated getting my hair brushed as a kid, I got tangles CONSTANTLY and it always hurt.

haha, reminds me of when i was a kid and i don't remember how this came about, but i had a really short haircut too. Buzzed sides and basically a short bowl cut on top, i think my mom called it a shepherd's cut or something

when i was a kid i hated it too. my hair is only wavy and not super curly but it was always long so it tangled so easily. it still does so i understand the wanting it short.
