I was on my computer with the desk lamp on, and I hear a loud buzzing thing near my right, and expecting to see a fly land on the lamp, it’s a FUCAAAA WASP!

My backyard has had wasp problems for a few years now, mainly in the summertime and because there are a lot of plants back there, many times they get into our living room, but usually only stay on the ceiling or nearby our double doors. Ahaha not last night. I got my hairspray to subdue the bastard and it zoomed at me.

Those suckers go after me when I’m out there sometimes. I got stung once just for closing a door and disturbing a nest they were building. Thing flew down to my ankle and stung me, no hesitation all murder. Second time I went after this wasp, I was able to trap it in a ziploc cause it couldn’t fly.

I messed with the asshole for a bit and shook the baggie before I left it out in the living room. It was still alive this morning before work. So mom set it free.

And this morning, I guess it was four A.M. post news*, I was woken to the sound of an air raid; one of those Silent Hill sirens, and my first thought was that it was a dream. Only it sounded a second time. Tsunami Warning. I live less than a mile from the beach.

I was half aware and ready to wake but waited for more of the sirens, only that was it. So I went back to sleep.

Every Friday of the first month, we have test sirens at noon, but the system glitched or someone set the timer wrong because the clock was set 12 UTC. My mom’s friend thought it was real and in a panic started gathering her pets and papers until her bf called the PD and they confirmed it was a mistake.
