the sort of permanent neurological damage that comes from a hard crash from benzos with a side of being in a coma is apparently real fucking wild.

(i have a benzo prescription for anxiety and my doc checks in with me about dependency every appointment)

yes everything I'm reading seems to indicate that cold turkey off benzos is a terrible idea

i'm sure no north american clinic would allow him to do a detox program without also going to counseling and i bet he wouldn't have accepted that

But things have devolved much further, wow.

I would imagine that the “autoimmune reaction” might have been a way of discussing what happens when you only eat one thing (NOT GOOD THINGS USUALLY) but idk. Like, possibly something like inflammatory bowel disease.

But that’s just broad speculation. I wish the Cult of Jordan Peterson would fall apart (since he’s clearly not the smartest man to ever live after all, 🙄) but it probably won’t.
