it's a bit scattered but

on the Character Class list there's a table that tells you which spell types you can use

nd the spell types page has a description of what those abilities are

I wouldn't send any new arrivals on a mission until they've had at least one IC training session.

But any open mission is up for grabs. New missions mostly get posted once the old ones are all complete.

The best thing about this game is everyone is super chill and will answer questions if you're not sure. And there is so much communication with plotting and whatnot.

They're required for new arrivals and optional for apprentices who have been there for a while. Different classes train with different people.

what I gathered was we can do star-level stuff but without hte ic training it's very very very likely to fuck up

since it's a different system of magic than aether for rice, and tony's just dumb normal

we can also use all the types available to our class, idk why the skeleton only has two slots

It's not really spells, it's more spell types. But yes you do have access to all of them, it's up to the character if they went to use them.

And magic will fuck up sometimes no matter what . It's more that the training will show them how to access and use the magic.
