I just watched something about this from our government

So, apparently it is airborne, the same as every other coronavirus, but it floats in the air for about a metre before rapidly hitting the floor/surfaces. The sustained airborne times indicated arise in circumstances that don't occur in the general population, but are instead caused by things like intubating and respirating patients, and in test conditions

where they are trying to do that deliberately to study how the virus acts
