I'm actively reading The Secret History of Wonder Woman by Jill Lepore, which is not really about Wonder Woman.
Also Cambridge made their online books free so now I have tabs open of A History of the Soviet Union from the Beginning to its Legacy and The Habsburg Monarchy, 1618–1815

and I downloaded something called The Making of an Imperial Polity: Civility and America in the Jacobean Metropolis
which I'm excited about but haven't done much but skim over…
the last thing I streamed was The Vietnam War by Ken Burns
I got a Switch a few months ago but I haven't played anything on it yet which is like the true state of my gaming right now.
And I think the last movie I watched was Birds of Prey
So mostly I just read books?
i like the historical variety
I wouldn't call it variety, it's all very western/modern although I suppose "IS RUSSIA EUROPEAN" is a whole other can of worms
but I've been thinking I should read more about Austria lately
i guess i was thinking more in terms of era/specific country lmao
or subject i guess?? i know its all western but
because I'm a historian I think the 1600s are modern
but yes, I have a wide variety of historical interests
LMAO my focus was largely on the 20th century so i do not think of 1600s as modern even tho ig it technically is
I suppose modern when applied to Russia is another debate but this book has a little bit of leadup to the 1917 revolution but basically starts there
anyway the one about civility in colonial virginia is closest to my academic focus but I'll read about anything
Book:Tarot for Troubled Times // Show: Hunters // Game: Dead by Daylight and Destiny 2 // Craft: polymer clay + dicemaking // Movie: The Colour Out Of Space // Podcast: The Black Tapes S3
Oooh I should hit up Cambridge and read some books
