Definitely one of the hardest things about the lockdown situation is having to figure out how to keep a 3 year old entertained, day in and day out, by ourselves and without getting to take her anywhere.

And preferably without littering the house with the detritus from ten thousand craft projects. Every single one of which she insists on taping to a wall.

At first I was worried that she would just end up watching TV all the time and developing terrible habits as a result, but she seems to be self-limiting after a couple of hours (likely, I suspect, because she doesn’t like to sit still for that long) which has been... a blessing and a curse, what with the baby.

I've found most kids don't want to sit and watch TV all day if they actually have options in an enriching environment

What helped was finding a series of episodes that involved dinosaurs. That was definitely a winner.

Wishbone might be a bit old for her, but even my littlest loved that when her older sisters were watching it

Fuzzytale: yeah, probably. It’s on my mental list for when she’s a bit older though!
