Bugs was like that too. Whatever state of awake he was in was the one he damn well wanted to stay in. Awake? Heck no to sleep. Asleep? don’t wake the beast

Finally got her to calm down enough to actually work on sleep by busting out the carseat for a bit

And here we are two hours into the nightly 1 AM awake session from hell. In which she’s hungry but won’t eat, hates being swaddled almost as much as being put down unswaddled, and wakes up at the slightest touch of the bassinet.

I think it’s more “thinks she’s willing to eat but is more tired than anything”
