She does this thing sometimes where if I’m putting her down somewhere and she doesn’t want to be put down, she’ll pick up her legs at the last second so her feet aren’t actually on the floor. I was helping her out of her chair at dinner (with the understanding that it was bedtime right after) and she did that.

And this is me, relaxing the muscles in my back that were helping me hold up a 40 pound child because I thought that the floor was supporting her weight, when it... wasn’t
