Not sure why? How about these tidbits...(Carnival has sponsored The Celebrity Apprentice and hosted an Apprentice-themed cruise. On April 14, Trump named Arison as one of the several dozen business leaders advising him on how to reopen the economy.)
As of early April, Carnival still had passengers at sea, nearly a month after the CDC issued a March 8 public advisory to “defer all cruise ship travel worldwide.” Spokesperson Frizzell says Carnival wasn’t under any legal obligation to follow the CDC’s advice. “The advisory is not an edict,” he says.
I love cruising. All the comforts of hotel while moving around the oceans. But after reading what an environmental danger they were, we gave up cruising. This make me want to cruise even less
JustJ: I hear ya! Cruising my fav vacation too. But maybe not for a while. And certainly not Carnival - which TBH - was never on my list. I prefer Royal Caribbean and Celebrity.
