I think you like characters you can make fun with - either of their lives and weird ass canon or the character themselves.

I would say, being Real for a second, that I don't like performing deep and earnest fandom because it feels weird and vulnerable, and so I cultivate ironic detachment and actively try to avoid having a type.

WELL I like that you're funny with your characters.

But it is true that the characters I take seriously wouldn't be suited for panfandom rp, and I don't know that it's particularly fun for other people to thread off of?

Especially given everyone is pretty weird about tagging off strangers and there are the occasional but definite weirdos who self insert pretty badly, so, making fun of your characters helps signal "DEAR GOD, I'M NOT ONE OF THOSE WEIRDOS, I SURE HOPE"
